Sekolah Pelita Harapan is a group of five International Christian schools situated in the heart of Indonesia, specifically in the city of Jakarta. Since its visionary inception in 1993, the schools under the umbrella of Sekolah Pelita Harapan have consistently evolved to become Indonesia's foremost Christian educational institutions, prioritizing academic excellence, personal growth, and spiritual development.

With a steadfast commitment to their vision of True Knowledge, Faith in Christ, and Godly Character, the schools articulate clear goals for students. The overarching aim is for students to grasp that all truth originates from God, the Creator and Sustainer, and is ultimately discovered within a relationship with Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Savior. The desired outcome of embracing and living out these fundamental truths is the cultivation of godly character, reflecting the image of God.

Sekolah Pelita Harapan aspires to realize this vision by centering on Christ as the preeminent figure in God's plan of redemption for the world. The belief is that students are called to actively participate with Christ in the restoration of the brokenness in the world, thereby becoming individuals of influence and positive action in whatever capacity they choose to serve.

The schools are firmly rooted in an Evangelical, Reformed theology that actively seeks truth wherever it may be found, acknowledging that all truth belongs to God. By employing the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge programs, Sekolah Pelita Harapan aims to cultivate mature, thoughtful students who are dedicated to lifelong learning and employ inquiry as a tool to seek and understand the truth.
