The Company was established in 1997 with main business activities engaged in modern retail trade. The name of the company has not been changed since establishment. The Company's business activities started in 1998 by opening first supermarket in Jakarta namely Ranch Market, a franchise license from Ranch Market USA. In 2007, the Company developed a new supermarket concept to cater for middle and upper middle class customers with a new brand, namely "Farmers Market".
In 2010, the Company entered into termination agreement with Ranch Market USA. Furthermore, the Company entered into agreement to obtain license to use Ranch Market brand in Indonesia and separate from Ranch Market USA. In 2012, the Company conducted a public offering of 312,897,500 shares and became a publicly listed company listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The corporate action was notarized in the Deed of Decree of All Shareholders No.15 by Fathiaah Helmi, Notary in Jakarta and was approved by the Minister of Law and Human Rights Republic of Indonesia No. AHU-03125.AH.01.02.Tahun 2012
The Company has 4 supermarket brands namely Ranch Market, Farmers Market, the Gourmet by Ranch Market and Day2Day by Farmers Market. Each brand has its own eminence and uniqueness. The Gourmet by Ranch Market and Day2Day by Farmers Market were introduced in 2019.

By the early 2020, the Company has operated 48 stores, consisting of 16 Ranch Markets, 29 Farmers Markets, 1 The Gourmet by Ranch Market and 2 Day2Day by Farmers Market, located in several cities in Jakarta, Jabodetabek, Surabaya, Malang, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Pekanbaru, Ambon, Dumai & Palembang.
