What do you do at your job?
Payfazz is a startup in the field of financial technology that focuses on providing financial services & digital product payments. During my internship at Payfazz, I was responsible for assisting the Recruitment and Branding team in conducting the employee selection process (screening, scheduling on google calendar & assisting an interview), in addition, I often assisted the team in drafting the company's internal communications. Incidentally, some time ago, my internal HR friends and I had the opportunity to design and implement interns one on one sessions as well as a bonding event for all interns at Payfazz.
What's your background?
I was born in a small town just west of the city of Yogyakarta, which is called Purworejo district, 21 years ago. In that city, I lived and grew up until I graduated from high school. Then when I was in college I decided to move into Depok, Sleman until now.
Could someone with a different background do your job?
It is possible as long as it meets the existing requirements and has experience in a similar field. About the skills, the things that need to be prioritized are communication/interpersonal skills and also interviewing skills because I'm currently a member of the RnB team.
What's the coolest thing about your job?
Meeting new people who have diverse backgrounds and of course new experiences and knowledge that we can get when we meet them. One of the things that I find funny is when I have to do administrative selections (especially when selecting portfolios) and assist with interviews. The moment that makes me sure if this job is definitely fit for me is when I get to know various people who certainly have their own uniqueness and characteristics and can contribute to succeeding in fulfilling and managing the human resources of the company. In addition, the openness and very supportive team in Payfazz also make me enjoy doing all of my daily work.
What are the drawbacks of your job?
Must be used to working in front of a laptop and sitting all day, especially for screening and interviews.

Start as early as possible and explore the world!
