Authenticator Trainee null

Authentication of Sneakers is a key function within Novelship. By joining our Operations team, you will be working closely with our passionate Operation teams to authenticate the most hype sneakers and uphold our reputation as a marketplace for the exchange of genuine sneakers and collectibles.  

As an Authenticator Trainee at Novelship, you must love sneakers and streetwear culture. You may already possess good knowledge of sneaker products from major brands Nike, Jordan, Adidas, etc. You are also detail-oriented and a great team player. This is an entry role to the world of Sneakers Authentication, and training will be provided to help you progress along the authentication career track within the company. Candidates with more experience may start at a Junior Authenticator level.

As a trainee, you will be exposed to other operation functions and processes as part of growing your understanding in an eCommerce start-up.

In this role you will:

• Appraise inbound products following company guidelines and established SOP
• Upkeep Novelship authentication SOP
• Assists Operation team with inbound and outbound parcels, keeping up to speed with Operation flow
• Maintained detailed records and was able to handle disputes by providing facts towards your authentication
• Work with different departments from knowledge attained from training
• Learn and keep up-to-date with new models and brands of sneakers

Requirements

• Able to commit a minimum of 6 months
• Experience in retail, fashion, e-commerce, warehousing, or operations would be a bonus
• Interest in sneakers, fashion, and streetwear
• Attention to detail
• Able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment (start-up)
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed (during crunch times!), including weekends and holiday seasons
• Good team player and communicator
