Position Description

We are searching for a committed, deadline-driven sales intern to join our sales team, for a duration of 6 months. The Intern will complete all tasks assigned by the manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, managing email campaigns, generating sales leads, making cold calls, participating in meetings both virtual and face to face, and assisting the Personal Safety Division Sales department wherever possible, focusing on the Great Jakarta area.

The Intern should be able to take instructions, but also work unsupervised when required. To be successful as a Sales Intern, the incumbent should be willing to learn as much about the company as possible and be able to spot opportunities that have been overlooked by others. Outstanding Sales Interns are problem solvers who know the value of building lasting, professional relationships with clients in personal safety business.

Sales Intern Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the manager and or assigned staff member of the Sales team, and completing all allocated tasks.
  • Conducting desktop research, or gathering information through surveys or by speaking to potential end customers and identifying for leads creation
  • Attending and participating in meetings both virtual and face to face, workshops, events, and exhibitions, as well as PSD Demo truck, whenever possible.
  • Updating documents and sales records.
  • Reviewing sales performance against sales targets.
  • Observing and carrying out sales processes.
  • Identifying potential weaknesses and offering improvement suggestions.
  • Assisting managers with negotiations.
  • Keeping a log of everything learned and delivering presentations to staff and other stakeholders.

Intern Requirements

  • In the final semester of an Engineering course, from reputable University
  • Possess a driver's license, if possible
  • Strong self-motivation
  • Able to work well individually or as a team
  • Communicates fluently in the local & English language. Proficiency in a foreign language(s) an added advantage
  • Able to cope with sales rejections, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills
